Technology Point for Today

The Effects of a Constructivist Intervention for Pre-Service Teachers Study was to determine how well the different intervention strategies were involved in helping to aid the teachers create engaging lessons for students.  The lessons that the in pre-services teachers were creating had to have the following attributes: Active, Constructive, Intentional, Authentic, and Cooperative Learning.  In my opinion, the “technology point for today” is still centered around having students engaged and responsible for their own learning.  Teachers should merely be the facilitators in the student’s learning.  As long as lessons are focused on the students actually doing all or most the work, then the students will be engaged.
