The Internet in a K-12 Educational Setting
As a highly qualified educator, I plan to use the Internet in my school district as a collaboration tool. Distance Learning allows students to have technology resources at their fingertips and to collaborate with other instructors and students outside of their normal school setting. In my school district, we are trying to get our students to be able to compete in a global society. We certainly do not have the financial resources to bus students away to get this experience. What better way to get our students connected is to connect students with other students all over the world to get this type of exposure.
