Spreadsheets in a K-12 Educational Setting
As a highly qualified educator, I plan to use Spreadsheets in my school district by creating graphs. Since I teach Science, I plan to have my students complete typed Lab Reports. A huge part of Lab Reports are results based on data that has been collected. Students can use a form of spreadsheets in order to create a variety of different charts and graphs: Pie Charts, Single Bar Graphs, Double Bar Graphs, Scatter-Plot Graphs, etc. With this type of software integration, not only will I be incorporating Science, but Math as well.
