- Pro: Great website that illustrates awareness of making standardized tests fair
- Con: There are not enough people that would actually support this cause if it actually came down to their jobs.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by using the resources of Authentic testing.
- RubiStar
- Pro: Great website that illustrates to allow teachers to create a rubric for free and that can easily be saved or downloaded.
- Con: If teachers do not know the proper way to create Rubrics, then they would create extremely vague Rubrics.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by using them as an assessment tool for my Project Based Assessments.
- QuizStar
- Pro: Great website that allows teachers to create quizzes online for free
- Con: I do not have one con about this tool, it is great it my book.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by using QuizStar to make quizzes for my students that are absent from school.
- 4Teachers.org
- Pro: Great website that provides several online tools for teachers that are free and are in one standard location
- Con: There are several websites that do the same thing
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by using the resources of Authentic testing.

5a Word processing
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students to use a word document to key their thought down onto.
- Con: There are several different types, but most people only know one
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students create a Lab Report.
5b PowerPoint
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students to create a Multimedia Presentation.
- Con: There are several different types, but most people only know one, which is Powerpoint Presentation Software.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students create a Multimedia Presentation.
5c Digital portfolios
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students and teachers to create a work sample of all of their work that deals with Technology
- Con: Depending how big the Digital Portfolios are, one would need plenty of space to store individual students’ work.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students save all of their information in a folder and zip the file and email it to their instructor.
5d Video
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students and teachers to film what they are doing and upload it via the Internet.
- Con: There are a lot rules that goes along with filming students of a certain age and parent consent is a must.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students create an Authentic Assessment using video.
- 5e Audio tapes
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students tape an audio version of what they have on paper.
- Con: Some students may not have good speaking voices or the audio quality may be poor
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students create the voice over for their Photostory.
- 5f Podcast
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students create a story with the use of visual aids with their voice narrating.
- Con: Most “Podcasts” contains video, so I think “Vodcast” would be most appropriate.
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students create a Photostory.
5g Teacher constructed websites
- Pro: Great technology tool that allows students and teachers to interactive via the Classroom Website
- Con: Teacher might not update the website often
- Integration: I could use this in my educational community by having students go to the class website for handouts that were given during class that they have lost.
